Hei,  oikein mukavaa maailman korttiaskartelupäivää. Minä vietän kivan lauantain Heinolan askartelutapahtumassa.
Jehkottaren haaste Korttitalkoissa oli tämä "keinonahkatekniikalla tehty taulu" (Jehkon ohje täällä).

Hauska tehdä jotain muuta välillä, tosin aikaa vei paljon kuivatuksineen, mutta aivan mahtavia töitä toiset tekivät! Aineet ja mömmöt löytyy tuolta Jehkon ohjeesta, lisäksi käytin omia maaleja ja juttuja mitä sattui olemaan mukana. Vintage kuva Pion Design, ruusut WOC, nuotit Crealies leikkeet.

Today I'm showing, sorry, not a card, but the Mixed Media canvas with " imitation leather" technique, which I make at the Crafting Camp in the September!
Products used: look the good pictures and details here. I used my own paints and gesso and embellishments.

Cat on the Moon

Hei! Hauskaa perjantaita ja eläintenpäivää! Minä olen kissaihmisiä, vaikkei meillä enää voi olla yhtäkään. Penny Black'in kissaleimasimet ovat suosikkejani! (Jos ette ole huomanneet!)
Tämäkin kortti on tehty jo Korttitalkoissa, haaste Paperilohikäärmeltä: mustaa + yksi säväysväri ja luonnos pohjalla, jota mukaeltu. Paperi saatu ja lainasin Elinan kiekuroita.

 Happy Animals Day! My favourite is cat, especially these Penny Black cat stamps. My family is so allergic to animals, can't have real one.
Image "cat on the moon" coloured with ProMarkers; text stamp Kaiser Craft, embossed; tulle painted to grey. We don't do Halloween here, but this could be one cute Halloween card!

Challenge this fortnight is ATC cards, little art cards! Something I haven't done for ages - so it was a time! And it was fun too, took me two hole days to make them!

Recycling girl

Hei, täällä etelässä tuli jo eilen ensimmäiset lumihiutaleet! Aika kylmää, mutta onneksi saimme patterit ilmattua, jo tarkenee ilman villasukkiakin.
Tänään näytän Korttitalkoissa tehdyn kierrätysmateriaaleista tehdyn A4- kokoisen kortin. Haasteen antoivat Heli ja Krista, vain tyttöleimasinta sai käyttää, muut materiaalit "vanhoja".

 Hello, we had the first snowflakes yesterday, but they smelted right away; brr it was cold.
The card is made in the Crafting Camp. The challenge was to use the girl stamp - but only recycled materials. Kraft cardstock's size is A4.
I found this congrats song's notes and pick the words: bird; flowers and letter, and made the elements to match them.

 Löysin laulukirjasta kivat laulunsanat, joista poimin lintu, kukat ja kirje - ja niihin tein korttiin sopivat vastineet. Siitä se idea lähti ( lapasesta...).

Lintu/ Bird: lonkerotölkistä stanssattu /  die cut from drink can (Marianne design)
Kello/Clock: muropaketista / from cereal box (Tim Holtz) + white paint
Kukat/Flowers: vanhan kirjan sivut / pages from old book (Sizzix) + brad, colour mists
Ruusut/ Roses: rullattu käsin pakkauspaperista, samaa taustalla/rolled from that same packaging paper which is at the background + white paint

 What a pity, broken toy! Another vintage card, ok, I have coloured one image today too...
In the photo there's one of my daughters favourite toy. As you see his own fur was so worn, that granny made a new suit. Goes well with his eyes!

Card 1. image from (tästä)  Little Angels, paper edges are embossed with white powder. Background  papers Prima's, lily frame from Papermania, lace, organza ribbon. "Love" text from Penny Black - new die cut.   Memory Box (chloe stem) die cut and Wild Orchid Crafts flowers with white paint on and gems as embellishments.

Card 2. Mother and Child, image Vintage Cute Babies.
Frames from  Spellbinders, silver leave done with Marianne Design die cut. Papers Heartfelt Collection and silver pearly cardstock. Little tag, lace, pearls and silver flower.

New vintage images

 Hello, I had an opportunity to try vintage images from Nicerane Designs and here are my first cards, more to come on Sunday! These images are from Little Angels set. Check these cute cat freebies here.

 Papers on both cards are from Prima Tea Thyme collection and background papers are pearly cardstock pink and silver. Love text is Penny Black's die cut.
(1) Chloe Stem is Memory Box's embossed with white and grey mix. Laces from Finnish stores, ribbon from Ribbon Girl, flower WOC's with Stickles frosted lace, pearls.

(2) Angel wings are TH die cut and cut from shimmery tapestry, with 3d foams. Lace and sequin ribbon,diamond gems.
