Gift box for tags

Hei, sain kunnian koota kollegoiden tagit yhteen, onnittelimme askartelijaystäväämme yllätyslahjalla.
Alkuperäinen suunnitelma ei onnistunut erikokoisten tagien vuoksi, joten piti keksiä muuta. Juuri olin siivoamassa askarteluhuonetta ja poistamassa turhia laatikoita, joista tämä teippilaatikko iski silmään ja vot, just oikea koko.

Hi, week ago my crafting friend celebrated her birthday. Me and 10 other crafters made tags for her and it was my pleasure to put them together. Hmmm. I found this old tape box as cleaning my craft room, it was just the right size for the tags. First I painted the box with white gesso. I used matching papers to cover the box. (Hot of the press, ColorCore)

Etsin varastostani paperit, joista löytyi kaikki värit, joita ystävät olivat käyttäneet. Kulmassa näkyy vähän omaa tagiani. Mukaan vielä lahjakortti.

Our friend was surprised and delighted to have this token from us.

Koristeet ovat kannessa, kukkia, virkattunakin (ihan itse), perhonen ja teksti. Sankari oli yllättynyt ja onnellinen muistamisesta.

Craft-Room Challenge DT - Feathered Friends

Hei, tervetuloa Craft-Room haasteen pariin! Höyhenpukuisia ystäviä, lintuja, jahdataan kaksiviikkoisessa haasteessa. Tein tähän haasteeseen kaksi mallityötä. DT- kortissani käytin tätä ihanaa Stempelgleden leimasinta; tekniikka: pakastimessa jäädytetty krakleeraus.
Tuunasin myös mixed media puurasian!

I made two samples this time -  a card and an altered wooden box.
Here's my vintage card with Stempelglede's "Petit Oiseau" with frozen embossing.

Card Info:
Image: Stempelglede, coloured with ProMarkers, embossed with clear powder and put in the freezer.
Squeezed and Distress Inks ( vintage photo, walnut stain) wiped on with dry cloth.
Papers: TH Kraft Core (rose and green), Graphit45 (once upon a springtime)
My new ivy corner from Crafts Too. Heart shape doily; Spellbinders die cut (text: "On a Celebration Day")

- That's not all! Eikä siinä vielä kaikki! Tuunasin Tiimarin puurasian valkoisella gessolla, art Mediumilla ja crackle maalilla. Keskustaan leimattu Stampendous linnut.

Lovebirds:
I altered a wooden box, few layers of white gesso and Art Medium to glue the embellishments.
There's TH clock, chains, flowers, leaves, same ivy corner as in the card, pearls, bird, wooden notes,
plastic little flowers, dots. Love text is Penny Black's die cut. After drying all white, I layered TH crackle paint (tattered rose). Birds (Stampendous) are stamped with Stazon and embossed clear, and a little colour from DI's.

Hei, tässä ensimmäiset tuotokset Korttitalkoista, Maissin haaste kalenterilaukku ja talkoohaaste laatikon tuunaus.

 Hi, here's the first two challenges from last weekend from "Crafting Camp". Calender purse and  altering of the wooden box.

 Laukkuun paperit ja kalenterisivut tuli Maissilta ja koristeet ovat omia, kukat itsetehtyjä.
Laatikonaihe oli vaikeampi ja oikeastaan halusin vain tosi yksinkertaisen, ei mitään isoja kukkia, jotta voin sen sijoittaa täydelle askartelupöydälle. Ja kotona sitten löysin sille paikan karkkipussilaatikkona.

 Calender purse: Really nice to do, could be fabulous gift for somebody. Flowers selfmade.

 Altered box: I wanted to do simple box to keep on my crafting desk - and at home I put some candies to it!
Painted with white gesso, corners brushed with Acrylic effect Paste ( Gold Satin)
Die cuts: Texts Penny Black; heart, balloons, clouds Memory box; corners Lea'abilities; scissors and bird Marianne Design.

Korttilaatikko

Hei, pientä puuhastelua muropaketin kanssa. Tein siitä kaksiosaisen korttitelineen päällystämällä paperilla ja koristelemalla. Tämän telineen kortit ovat myytävänä Suvimarjassa, avoinna koko pääsiäisen, poiketkaa!

 Hi; I altered empty cerial box to a card box for my vintage selection cards which are now in this shop.

 Lovely K&CO vintage style papers; silky cream ribbon, white painted flowers and leaves.
There goes easily 10 cards. I added a cardstock under the box to get it more heavy.

 Näitä kortteja olen postannut jo joskus aikaisemmin, kaikki hyvin samantyyppisiä, hohtavia  papereita ja himmeitä maaleja, virkattuja kukkia. Telineeseen mahtuu mukavasti 10 korttia ja niitä on siinä helppo selailla. Tämä oli ensimmäinen versio omilla " mitoilla", seuraavassa ehkä saa muutamat virheet korjattua.

Craft-Room Challenge # 47 In the Garden

Hei, tervetuloa Craft-Room haasteen pariin! DT Suzanne haluaa nähdä jotain muuta kuin kortteja, siis mitä vaan askartelua, aiheena kuitenkin "puutarhassa". Kevätlinnut sirkuttavat jo heleästi pihoillamme. Teinkin DT työnäni linnunpönttö - lahjarasian. (Lopussa lisää suomeksi)

Callen haasteeseen kuului myös lehtiön tuunaus, mutta se vielä odottaa... Päivä meni mukavasti tämän tuunauksen kanssa ja ihan vihjeenä voin sanoa, ettei kannata aivastaa kun on höyhenet pöydällä!

Craft-Room Challenge DT #36 Alter it!

I gave a new life to a chocolate box  from last Christmas.

Papers from K&Co; I did some homemade flowers again, and added white gesso here and there, even to the gauze bow. Lots of Spellbinders leaves with Glossy Accents on. Tag is coloured with DI and the stylish text says "congrats"! A little bling bling; lace around the box and some glittery Stickles.

Hei, edelleen Korttitalkoiden satoa, tehtävänä koristella taulun kehykset. Maalasin pohjan valkoisella akryylimaalilla, leimasin Crafty Inviduals, embossattu ja päällä vielä paikoin nuottileimaa embossattu valkoisella. Sisällä samaa nuottia ja päälle maskattu  Penny Black siilisolisti; kitara vielä erikseen kohotettu ja päällä Glossy Accents;  väritetty ProMarkereilla ja Sakura Clear Star kynällä..  Siellä täällä hangattu Distress Stain vintage photoa.

Ow, this was a challenge at Crafting Camp two weeks ago: alter frames. White paint, stamping, embossing, masking... 3d effect, the guitar is raised up and there's Glossy Accents on!

Memo books

Hei,
P*skarteluhaasteeseen ruskea, valkoinen,beige. Päällystin kaksi muistikirjaa, joista tämä ensimmäinen sopii
värihaasteeseen. Alla taustaleimasin tekstiä, kulmissa pienet kukkaköynnökset, ruskea Versafine;  nainen (ibfs) leimattu kraft paperille, embossattu, hieman väritetty ProMarkereilla, muovitimantit, ruskeat pitsit, twine naru ja metallikukka koriste, koko n. A6, viivallinen.

 I altered two memobooks with these vintage look stamps! (i brake for stamps)
The text in other charm is " be yourself"!

Kokeiluja

Hei! Upeaa kevätpäivää, pikaisesti vähän jotain kokeiluja ja lintukuvia. Penny Black'in iso taustaleimasin embossattuna,
simppeli äitienpäiväkortti.

 Penny Black's background stamp (delicate pattern), embossed white and coloured with Distress Ink (tumbled glass). Clean and simple card for Mother's Day (it's 8th May here in Finland).

 Didn't have any pencil tin here in our temporary home, so I had to make one. First ate the soup and dished the tin, then covered it with tapestry piece and beautiful ribbon and lace. Round metal charm in twine and stamped motivation text! One Stop Craft Challenge: Altered

 Palokärki on tehnyt kolon keskellä pihaa sijaitsevaan mäntyyn, nyt jännitetään koska ja minne puu kaatuu,
ennenkuin itse voi sitä yrittää sopivaan kohtaan kaataa, työhuoneeni on vaarassa! Lintua ei paljon häiritse vaikka kävelemme vierestä koko ajan, mutta jostain syystä lippalakkia on kiva käyttää;-))m

Here's our busy spring builder, woodpecker is doing his nest burrow in the middle of our cottage yard.
He don't mind at all if we are walking around! But we are afraid of if the tree will fall down and where, our
buildings are so close. And another reason to wear a cloth cap;-))m

Altered memo

Tein muistikirjan synttärilahjaksi ystävälleni, jonka aikanaan tapasin ranskantunneilla - saapi sinne kirjoitella vaikka matkamuistojaan. Virkatussa kukassa roikkuu siis Riemukaari ( Arc de Triomphe). Niin ja kiitos kysymästä, kaikki on ihan hyvin! Vähän flunssaa meinaa pukata...
This altered memo I gave to my friend, whom I met in a French course few years ago, she just visited Paris and now she can write her stories to the book. There's the Arc de Triomphe hanging in the crochet flower.

Korttirasia äidille /Card box to M.

Suklaarasian uusi elämä korttiboksina. Äiti valitti, että hänellä ei ollut kortteja, hmm.
Hyvä lahjavinkki siis. Suklaa oli erittäin Yummy ! (Rosie D's Challenge theme).
Sisälle tein siis erilaisia kukkakortteja ja niihin kuoret. Virkatut kukat ovat omia tai siskon tekemiä, pujotin ohuen nauhan tuon pitsin reunaan.

I altered the box to my mother who said that she's out of cards!
So I made few flower cards and envelopes inside.

Atc ja tuunattua

Kollaasimanian haasteeseen 20 ATC-kortti, vaatimuksena samaa sävyä, tekstiä ja kello!
"Odottakaa"
Vanhempi haaste on tämä Tiinan "Tuunaa kirja", vielä ehdin! Tädin jäämistöstä vuodelta 1947
hienosti kellastunut kirja sai uuden kannen. Päällä kirjasta irronneet jämät ja samettipintaiseen paperiin tehty reikä kirjassa olleen kuvan kohdalle; vanharikkoutunut rintasolki löysi tässä paikkansa, samoin kuin vanhat pitsit. Kirjan koko n. 15 x 22 cm. Liekehtivä himo - olkoon minun tuleva altrauskirja, tulette varmaan näkemään tästä sivuja myöhemmin!?

Pääsiäisrasia

Kauppaan on ilmestynyt ihana Mignon- rasia, jossa tutut herkut on
pienempinä konvehteina. Oli ihan pakko ostaa ja kokeilla koristella
tämä. Karkit pääsi kyllä hupenemaan aika lailla...

Reunassa pitsiä ja nauhaa, teippi Hong Kongin mattoteippi, skräppipaperia ympäriinsä ja
myös sisus.
