Hei, terveiset Korttitalkoista! 23 ahkeraa askartelijaa kokoontui torstaista sunnuntaihin Eurajoella.
Kaunis merimaisema ja kirpeän kostea meri-ilma innoitti melkoiseen kasaan kortteja ym. askarteluja.
Tässä on pari päivää mennyt tavaroita purkaessa ja kortteja viimeistellessä, kuvatessa ja pakatessa.
Näitä uusia sitten tupsahtelee tulevaisuudessa...

Tässä syksyinen lahjasetti koristeltu Mintayn paperikolla.

Hi, greetings from the Craft Camp, I think it was the 10th time, and now in four days!
We had fun, made a lot of cards and creations, enjoyed the seaside views.

Kahden haasteen tuotokset, lahjapakkauksen tuunaus ja Bind it all kirjasen tekeminen ja koristelu,
molempiin käytin kauniita syksyisiä Mintayn papereita ja kuvia. Ostin pakettiin myös täytettä, Ellun tekemät kauniit vaaleanpunaiset villasukat tyttärelle. Askartelukauppaa ei tällä kertaa ollut, mutta kotoa on jo kilahtanut ainakin kolme tilausta, klik klik.

Here's two challenges I made, tuning a gift box and creating a bind it all- booklet, I used beautiful autumnal Mintay papers.

Between the challenges I coloured a lot of images, so I have material for the new cards, especially Christmas cards...

Ja jos et itse askartele, niin ensi viikolla on vielä mahdollisuus ostaa joulukortteja. Tiistaina ja keskiviikkona Lahdessa ja loppuviikosta Vääksy ja  Padasjoki. Voin myös postittaa suoraan vastaanottajalle, laita viestiä.

Mallityöni on kortti, jossa on sisällä pieni rasia lahjalle, tässä on sisällä oma koruni näytiksi.
Kortin paksuus jää alle 3cm, joten kulkeutuu postin mukana.

Hi; Happy Saturday, it's time for a new Allsorts Challenge! Brenda's theme is "Anything goes with a Twist". You can get inspiration from the prize that is the new stampset from Rare Earth. Another prize comes from Tattered Lace.

Design Team mallit olen tehnyt Korttitalkoot viikonloppuna haasteeseen, jossa piti käyttää Perfect Pearls kimallejauheita. Jep, varmaan niinkuin moni muukin, ne ovat töysin unohtuneet hyllyyn. Mutta nehän onkin oikein ihanat ja antavat hienon hohteen väritettäessä.

Kukat on ensin leimattu valkoiselle vesiväripaperille, sitten vesisäiliösiveltimellä ja 3:lla värillä väritetty ( valkoinen, kulta ja pronssi). Kultainen peilikartonki tuo lisää hohtoa ja juhlavuutta muuten yksinkertaiseen korttiin.

 I have totally negleted the dazzling and pearlescent Perfect Pearls Powders. Try to make more with them soon!

Lahjarasia oli yksi haaste, käytössä Tonic studion stanssit ja pähkäilyn jälkeen sain tämänkin kasaan!
(neliönmallinen tulitikkurasia), Sizzix lehti ja perhonen, värjätty ja koristeltu kohojauheilla, omatekoinen kukka kierrätyspaperista.

Gift box - Tonic studio's die cut set, like a match box, but square. Leave and buttefly Sizzix dies, coloured and embossed, homemade flower from old musical book- page.

Day 21: Hyacinth of Pine cones / Käpyhyasintit

Hei, tämän joulun hitti, käpyhyasintti! Viime kesä oli melkoinen käpykesä ja keräsinkin paljon käpyjä varastoon. Niin varmaan muutkin ja pitihän tätäkin sitten minunkin kokeilla, kun materiaalia löytyy läheltä. Olen itse tuoksuallergikko ja en voi yhtään olla samassa huoneessa aidon hyasintin kanssa.
Muuten pitäisin kovastikin kukasta.

Hi, these fragrance free hyacinths have been a hit here. I collected a lot of pine cones last summer, as our garden was full of them. This is the first I made, used a paint spray, liked the colour, but it still "smelled" paint. ( I'm allergic to most of the scents, flowers and scented candles...)

The second hyacinths I painted with Annie Sloan Chalk paint and brush, colour is lighter, but no odour! Next time I'll use white paint. The moss and decorations are from own forest.

Seuraavat teinkin sitten oasis sieneen ja värinä käytin Annie Sloan kalkkimaalia, siveltimellä suoraan käpyihin - ja jippii, ei tuoksu yhtään! Väri olisi voinut olla vähän lilampi, koetan seuraavat valkoisella. Sammaleet, jäkälät ym ovat omasta metsästä kerätty.

Day 20: Gift Pocket Card

Hei, tänään siivotaan parvi tyttären joulunviettoon, jos jotain jaksaa leipoa lisäksi  - siinähän se päivä menee mukavasti! Iltapäivällä onkin luvassa  3 tunnin sähkökatko, joten saa levätä ihan luvalla!
Tänään näytän pienen lahjan, jonka lähetin ulkomaille. Aukaistava kortti, jonka sisälle mahtuu pienet muistamiset ja kortti.

Tyttöenergiaa ja mökkitouhuja

Hei eilen vietettiin tyttöjen päivää ja tänään pinkkiä perjantaita. Siis naiskortteja tänään!
Ensimmäinen syksynväreissä, Lili of the Valleyn leimasimella. Toisessa kortissa kellii Pennyn rintsikkakissa.

Hi, yesterday was Girls Day and today the Pink Friday, so cards for girls and ladies.
First card is made with Lili of the Valley stamps and coloured with Distress Inks - and in autumnal colours. Another card is cute Penny Black cat in pink colours.

Kaupungissa työhuoneen ikkunasta näkyy näin komeanvärinen vaahtera. Kävin keräilemässä lehtiä ja tein ruusuja ja niistä kranssin. Pohjaan letitin gladioluksen varsia, lisäsin, lumimarjoja ja murattia.
Ihan kiva ensi yritykseksi! Ja miehen kanssa purettiin tuo laiturin penkki, viimeinen kuva siitä.

We have a huge maple under my craft room ( at the city), the autumn colours are so beautiful.
I collected some leaves and made roses for my first wreath. I used the leaves of gladiolus, snow berry bush white berries and ivy leaves. Now this is hanging on our cottage door! As you see it was a warm and beautiful day! Lots of work done in the garden and then we demolished our pier benches, whooh!

Malliksi tein keppihevostytölle muistikirjan, johon sain paljon nauhanpätkiä pois!

My sample is a gift, notebook for a hobbyhorse girl (very popular hobby here). I used a lot of draft ribbons and a  colourful butterflies ribbon. Image is a digi, coloured with Promarkers.
Girl's name is on the Gummiapan's fishtail diecuts, papers are Basic Grey's.
A tag inside with Marianne design horse.

The Venetian Lantern

Hei, taas yhteydet pelittää, uusi liittymä jälleen!
Lauantaina rannallamme vietetään venetsialaista juhlaa - ja samalla korttiateljeen kesänlopetusmyyntiä. (Kuvassa olevista korteista lähemmin ensi viikolla)

Olen säästänyt vanhaa valolyhtyä jo pitkään ja nyt maalasin sen valkoiseksi ja koristelin. Käytin isoja kukkia, joita on kerääntynyt ja jotka ovat hankalia korttiaskarteluissa. Liimasin kuumapistoolilla kaikki kiinni ja maalasin koristeetkin valkoisella kalkkimaalilla.

Hi, we have a new operator - again.
It's the Venetian weekend and we are having a party here at our cottage, open house at my craft studio with all my cards for sale!

I've kept this old lantern for a while - and now altered it to shabby venetian style. Painted all white and use those big flowers that are oversized to the cards. Piece of lace and tulle and a venetian mask diecut.

Tyyntä ja myrskyä

Hei, olipas kova myrsky, meillä oli sähköt poissa 24 tuntia. Pihajuhlat ehdittiin viettää mökin suojaisemmalla nurkalla juuri ennen sähkökatkosta. Kaikki korttilaatikot olivat täynnä oksanpätkiä ja havunneulasia. Onneksi kaikissa on sellofaanipussit, kortit on taas siistinä seuraavaa kertaa varten.
Kiitokset kaikille kävijöille ja musiikista ja viihdytyksestä vastanneelle Heikki Mäntyselle.
Ilta todellakin jatkui venetsialaistyyliin, kaikki kynttilät kaivettiin esille, oli tunnelmallista!

Kiitoksena papille, joka siunasi isämme, tein kuoret koteloon, joka sisälsi CDn isän ja veljesten musiikkia.

This is a CD case card I made for a  thank you gift full of music.

We had an awful wind storm on Saturday - and it was my garden party with open card studio!
Busy day with about 30 people, cafe with cakes and a singer with a guitar.
In the afternoon the electricite went off for 24 hours! In the evening we had a candles all over, very nice! All the card boxes was full of twigs and stuff from the trees. TG I have cello bags in every card.

Vintage Chocolate Gifts

Hei, pääsiäismarkkinoilla myin suklaakortit loppuun, joten uusia pitäisi tehdä varastoon.
Nämä kortit ovat tilaustöitä tammikuulta! Joku oli tietysti syönyt suklaat ennen kuvausta!!!

 Hi; I had a market place ( table) at Easter Saturday at a "Country House". Had a great day, I sold all my chocolate cards - so have to start again! These cards I made at January to an order.

Papers: Heartfelt Creations, images Pion Design; diecuts Memory Box; Spellbinders, Mama Elephant, punch Martha Stewart. Text stamp Indigo Blu, resist embossing, lace, ribbon, flowers, pearls/gems.
... and the chocolate comes to the inside pocket... not having any when taking the photo!!!

Hei, ystävänpäivän aikaan tehdyt suklaakortit, ilman suklaata tosin kuvissa. Sisälle mahtuu se normi Fazerin levy. Pitänee tehdä jokunen lisää tuonne pääsiäismarkkinoille.

 Hi, two chocolade cards I made for Valentine gifts. Had no chocolade at home when took the photos, but it goes to the inside pocket. Papers are from Basic Grey and Hot of the press. Stitched tags decorated with paper scraps and ribbon. Corner die cut Memory box.
