Day 21: Hyacinth of Pine cones / Käpyhyasintit

Hei, tämän joulun hitti, käpyhyasintti! Viime kesä oli melkoinen käpykesä ja keräsinkin paljon käpyjä varastoon. Niin varmaan muutkin ja pitihän tätäkin sitten minunkin kokeilla, kun materiaalia löytyy läheltä. Olen itse tuoksuallergikko ja en voi yhtään olla samassa huoneessa aidon hyasintin kanssa.
Muuten pitäisin kovastikin kukasta.

Hi, these fragrance free hyacinths have been a hit here. I collected a lot of pine cones last summer, as our garden was full of them. This is the first I made, used a paint spray, liked the colour, but it still "smelled" paint. ( I'm allergic to most of the scents, flowers and scented candles...)

The second hyacinths I painted with Annie Sloan Chalk paint and brush, colour is lighter, but no odour! Next time I'll use white paint. The moss and decorations are from own forest.

Seuraavat teinkin sitten oasis sieneen ja värinä käytin Annie Sloan kalkkimaalia, siveltimellä suoraan käpyihin - ja jippii, ei tuoksu yhtään! Väri olisi voinut olla vähän lilampi, koetan seuraavat valkoisella. Sammaleet, jäkälät ym ovat omasta metsästä kerätty.
