Happy Easter

Hei; tänään siirryn mökkimaisemiin pyhien ajaksi. Lauantaina on kylän pääsiäismyyjäiset, jonne olen menossa korttieni kanssa.
Yhden koristemunan ehdin tekemään, pari isompaa jäi odottamaan parempaa aikaa.
Tähän käytin äskettäin tilaamiani kukkia, joista en sitten erityisemmin pitänytkään! Lisäksi napsuttelin vanhasta kirjasta leikkureilla kukkia ja päälle liimailin dotseja. Yläosaan pistin helmineulan ja organzanauhaa.

 Hello! I bought some Styrofoam eggs, but got time only to decorate this one. Used  flowers I don't really like to put on cards. Punched  flowers from old book pages and added green dots. Pearly pin and organza ribbon. Now it's time to move to the cottage for the holiday. At Saturday I'm going to the village's Easter Market with my cards. Rest of the time I'll read, eat, maybe sing a little karaoke and go to the sauna every day, just relaxing with my family ! Hope it will be a better wheather to go for jogging in the fresh air.

Tapes and Butterfly

P*skarteluhaaste pelasti päivän, tai edes kortin! Teippejä ja perhosia:

 Olin leimannut paperille tekstiä ja kukan suoraan Priman paperille ja embossannut ne värittömällä -
ja sitten tuo paperi onkin lojunut keskeneräisissä tovin. Hih onneksi tuli paskis haaste ja kaivoin nuo unohduksissa olleet Timpan teipit esille. Hieroin ensin lisää Distress Inkejä pintaan, että kuviot tulivat esiin.
Sitten teipit kukkien päälle ja perhonenkin oli tehty jo aiemmin, embossattu DI mahoganylla ja kullalla.
Muutama helmi ja se on siinä!

In my DT sample I used Tando's Birds and a cage, painted them with Distress crackle paint ( old paper, black soot). My background stamps are Hero arts (music);  Indigoblu (text and swirls); Stempelglede (corners).
Versafine black; Distress embossing ink; clear embossing powder; Distress Inks ( iced spruce, bundled sage, old paper. Musical notes Crealies diecuts cut from Color'core paper.

 This is a start for something more... I'll show you next Tuesday, how this project ended!

Christmas in March

Hei, pari joulukorttia tähän väliin. HS tyttökortissa Fiskars'in leikkurilla tehdyt kukat; lehdet Spellbinders'in ja Glossya ja maalia päällä. Crafty Individuals kaupunkimaisema embossattu valkoisella siniselle kartongille, alla Basic Greyn paperia.

 Two Christmas cards to show. First is Hänglar& Stränglar's stamp, coloured with ProMarkers; papers K&Co and edges sewed. Red raffia lace and twine with a charm. Fiskars flower punch, gems, leaves Spellbinders' die, added Glossy Accents and white paint.

 Stamp: Crafty Individuals embossed white to a blue cardstock, downpaper is Basic Grey's; button and ribbon. "Santa Claus is coming to town".

Tealight Cards and Tags

Hei, kynttiläkortteja pääsiäismyyjäisiin, tagit Distress Inkeillä ja Staineilla ja kimallussuihkeilla pohjustettu ja kuvat leimattu ja embossattu.

 Springtime there's magic in the air... tags for the tealight cards.
Coloured on the crafting sheet with Distress Inks and Stains and glitter sprays. Stamped (black versafine + clear ep); stamps indigoblu rabbits and flowers inkadinkado. Color Core cardstock and butterfly (or paisley below) embossing folder, ribbons.

 One with another text and with white embossing.

Green Bunny Card!

Vihreä pupukortti pääsiäistervehdykseksi. Olen hukannut pääsiäistekstileimasimeni, mutta tänään Tiimarista löytyi ihan kiva ja vielä sai alennuksiakin! Samalla tuli poikettua Sinellissä ja paljon löytyi sieltäkin uutta!
Nyt onkin viikonloppu aikaa askarrella!

 Penny Black's bunny (bunny bouquet 4067K) stamp gets lots of ink these days. I'm making some Easter cards and gifts using it as an image. It's so easy to colour and with AquaMarkers so fast to do. I have embossed the image with clear after stamping with Versafine black, it gives more shine and texture.
Papers (3) from Memory Box sweetbay collection, leaf die Marianne Design. Don't remember whose dies the flies are, don't have the bag anymore. Then there's ribbon, button and pearls and Spellbinders' big ovals.

Birds and clocks

Mustarastaat tulivat jo viime viikonloppuna mökkipihalle. Keväällä ja alkukesän niitä on kiva seurata ja kuunnella kaunista visertelyä. Marja-aikaan sitten kaikki onkin toisin, mokomat kun tuppaavat syömään kaikki herkut! Kortista löytyy myös lintu kellojen kera, kortti lähti jo eilispäivän synttärisankarille.
Tänään pidin pikakurssin kortteilusta, leimailusta ja käytiin materiaaleja läpi, oli hauskaa!
