What's New 2024

 Hyvää uutta vuotta vielä myös We Love Stamping  korttihaasteen puolesta!
Tammikuun haasteen heitän minä ja kysyn: Mitä Uutta? Toiko pukki jotain kivaa askartelumateriaalia, vai ostitko itse ( yleensä parempi vaihtoehto). Kortin aiheeksi voit valita myös vauvat, uuden kodin... ja aina voi osallistua  "kaikki käy" vaihtoehdolla!

Minulle on tässä reilun 15 vuoden aikana kertynyt niin paljon askartelutarvikkeitta, että kaikkia en ole ehtinyt edes kokeilla. Olen tilaillut pääosin vain niitä pakollisia ja yrittänyt käyttää niitä "uusvanhoja" kaapista. Johonkin uuteen kuitenkin lankesin, niin kuin näihin AALL Createn pingviinileimasimiin.
Nämä samat materiaalit lähetin kavereille joulukalenterivaihdossa - jos satutte näkemään samantyylisiä!

Happy New Year from We Love Stamping Card Challenge! I chose the theme for January - Something New! It could be new craft materials, new baby, new home, new job, just name it -
or just use the "Always Anything Goes" - option.

I have too studios - so you can guess I have too much everything, some stuff never used.
My promise for this year (too) is to use things I have already. OK, these cute AALL Create penquin stamps are my latest new things. How cute they are!? These are my first cards I made with them.

 Hyvää joulunalusviikkoa, muistuttelen vielä We Love Stamping  korttihaasteesta, johon on aikaa osallistua vielä joulun jälkeenkin.
Haasteen aiheena joulunkukat ja vehreät. Mallikorteissani on joulutähtiä, marjoja ja käpyjä, kuvat ovat väritetty Promarker tusseilla. Sitten vielä pari muuta korttia! Hyvät joulut toivotan vasta lauantaina vuoden viimeisen Allsorts haasteen mukana! Tämän viikon haastetta emännöin minä, muistakaa osallistua.

Joulukukkakortteja / Christmas Flower Cards

 Viikko jouluun! Mitään en ole valmistellut, paitsi kortteja! Mutta kunhan siivoaa ja laittaa vähän joulukoristeita mökillä, se on siinä. Jouluruoat ei maistu kenellekään, suklaalla herkutellaan. Ehkä gluteiinittomia kakkuja teen. Voi kun säät suosisi ja pääsisi ulkoilemaan, olen ollut niin sisällä pitkään.

Asiaan, tämän viikon Allsorts haastetta emännöin minä ja aiheena "joulukukat ja/tai kranssit" - tai aina kaikki käy- vaihtoehto!
Toivottavasti ehditte mukaan, perjantai-iltapäivään asti aikaa osallistua.

Joulukalenterivaihdossa sain materiaalit seuraavaan korttiin, leimasin ( Studio Light) minulla onkin ennestään, en vaan ollut ehtinyt sitä kaivaa esille.

Welcome, it's time for a new Allsorts Challenge week! It's my time to host and my theme is "Christmas Flowers and/or  Wreaths - or simply Anything goes. Hope you have time to enter as it is Christmas Week.
Two first cards are made with StudioLight stamp with beautiful poinsettias and wreaths. First white one is simple with poinsettia embossed background and lovely sentiment from our national writer.
The second one is more is more, materials are from this year's Christmas calendar ( with friends) - and I used all to this card! Have you seen these nude poinsettias in nature?!

Last weekend I and my daughter were in a big Christmas Fair at Porvoo, in the southern seaside of Finland, 3 days, we stayed at the hotel.
Lots of people over 30 000, lots of buses and groups from all over, even from Lapland. It was located in an old Art Center, there were about 150 sellers, lots of hand crafters, artists of all kind. It has been one of my dream to participate at these Fair, now it's done. Last year I got my Pop Up Shop in a shopping center.
Here's our table, my cards and crafts and daughter's colourful bijoux.

Joulupaita - kortti

 Hyvää joulukuunalkua! Tänään olen Orimattilan Joulukylässä, Luhtikylän Nuorelassa, lähellä isäni synnyinsijoja! Viikon päästä sitten Porvoon Taidetehtaalla joulumarkkinoilla, perjantaista sunnuntaihin. Tyttäreni lähtee matkaani ja hän on tehnyt kivoja  mm. nuorten koruja.

Tervetuloa myös Allsorts haasteen pariin! Viikon aiheena "ompelu - oikea tai oikaistu!! Ja tietysti kaikki käy, kuten aina!

Yksi tämän joulun uusi ostos on tämä Spellbinders joulupaita-stanssisetti, tuo ompelu vie vaan aikaa ja mun rähmäsormet ei tykkää - siksi olen yleensä jättänyt sen tekemättä! Mutta tässä pinkki joulupaitakortti.

One of my latest shopping is this Spellbinders "Stitched Christmas Sweater" !
I've made several Christmas card with it, but not stitching - except this one !
Have to try, but it's not "the cup of tea" for my fingers! Yet it looks better...
And of course some bling bling added...

Here's a pic from last weekend, I was at the "Art House" near by selling my Christmas stuff.
There's some led light cards with Finnish flag - our Independence Day is next week (the 6th Dec).
We'll decorate the house and show we have been independent 105 years. Our borders to Russia are now closed! That's all for the politics from here!

Hyvää lauantaita, tänään olen Vanhan Vääksyn joulunavajaisissa ja sisäpaikka löytyy Taidevintiltä, Kanavatie 17, heti Kunkun takana, kanavan vieressä. Illaksi suuntaankin pitkästä aikaa mökille vähän rauhoittumaan (!) viikonlopuksi.

 Mukavaa lauantaita ja tervetuloa tänne blogiin katsomaan uudet mallikortit kahteen haasteeseen. Aloitetaan Allsorts haasteesta! Viikon aiheena"Joulunaika" - tai kaikki käy! Tässä kolme vintagehenkistä jouluruusukorttia.

Happy weekend, today I'll show you 5  DT cards for two challenges! Let's start with Allsorts Challenge! DT Lolo's theme is " Christmas time" or just Anything goes.
My favourite Christmas flowers are Christmas Roses ( Helleborus ) and I love this Stempelglede's stamp, coloured with Zig Watercolour Markers. These 3 cards are quite similar but here they are!

Today it is the time to remind about We Love Stamping Challenge ! You still got time to enter: we would love to see all sorts of Christmas Characters! Here's my two cards with old Santa stamp, coloured with Zig's too.
